Solveig Mjanger

Solveig can best be described as a hard worker with an strong will and problem-solving ability. In January 2021, in the middle of the Corona pandemic, she started Solfi, and has become an invaluable resource as interim CFO several clients.

Before starting Solfi, solveig worked for 5 years as Head of Finance at itslearning, and 14 years as an advisor at EY within finance and auditing.

Solveig is an expert in IFRS and cash flow analyses.

Espen Ottem

MBA from NHH (Siviløkonom), Interim manager and advisor

Espen became part of the Solfi team in the summer of 2023. In a short time, Espen has become a resource for several of Solfi's customers, both as a finance manager and controller.

Espen started his career as a consultant in Accenture. He then spend a decade as a Business Analyst and Controller within retail (Coop Norge and Rieber & Søn ASA). Then followed nine years in itslearning as Group Business Controller and 2 years in Tide AS as Group Controller.

Espen is an expert in business analysis and a very experienced Controller. He is used to working in complicated organizations and quickly gets an overview of both figures and business.

Since he started at Solfi, Espen has been interim controller for three different companies (transport, energy and SaaS+IoT).

Controller

Ensures full control over the company's consolidated figures, analyzes and presents key figures regularly and when necessary.

John Arthur Berg

Computer Engineer from HVL, Technologist, Interim manager and advisor

John Arthur started in Solfi late 2023, and is so far Solfi's only interim leader with a deep technology background.

He has over 20 years of management experience from itslearning, and helped scale the business from a handful of employees to several hundred employees in ten countries. He has led various business areas such as sales, marketing, strategy and product development. He has also worked for four years as a consultant at Accenture.

John Arthur is an expert in SaaS , GDPR, strategy and product management. He thrives best at the intersection between technology, market, product and finance.

Previous assignments

Interim project manager

John Arthur has worked as interim project manager for a larger, international development project. In addition to helping to finalize the agreement, he established a project organization, project handbook, financial and management reporting. He also managed the process of hiring and handing over the project to a new project manager.

CRM

A customer wanted to have their CRM (Hubspot) adapted to their sales and delivery model. The solution was a "funnel" that handles the entire lifecycle of the customer relationship. In addition, a reporting workflow was developed up to ensure that management reporting and financial reporting came directly from CRM (ARR, pipeline, cashflow, etc).

Contractual frameworks

John Arthur has helped a client put in place a contractual framework for international distributors that ensures their business model is well looked after and that the terms are acceptable to their counterparties.
